Which ones? I worked there for 9 years and managed for Leo for 4 of those years. Its not too often I can say without a shadow of a doubt I know more about that restaurant, Leo and the wait staff than anyone else on this entire board.
I was there before, during and after Dallas and he was VERY different from that point on. If I had to bet, the waitresses idea of hitting on them was not him hitting on them. If a girl decided to actually look good at work one day, yes, he would complement them. There were only a handful of girls he would hang out with after work and only reason for that is because they were fricking his friends. I am not saying the man is a saint because he isn't, but he is not how you are trying to describe him.

Were they new to working in a place like sullivans?
The only reason I ask is, in my experiences, managers who are going for the whole attractive waitress vibe commonly complement the ones that out time and effort into looking good. It is pretty important to their business model and it encourages others to do the same.
Now if he was walking by telling them that he would beat it up if they gave him a chance, or grabbing them then yea, he was out of line.

Have you ever been in their wine room or private party room in the basement? One of the coolest I've seen.

Yes sir. Very impressive.
And, their wine list is strong, strong, strong. If you wanna drink big boy wines, FW DF will not disappoint.

Entrance to the wine celler. Basement of a 200+ yr old building in downtown Ft. Worth.
One wall
Back room
Private Dinning Room
I wish I had the wine program the Double Eagles have when I was running the Sullys wine program.

location is kind of hard to get to or tell someone how to get there if they don't know how to do it.
Huh?
Take the College Dr exit and go north under I-10. Turn right on Corporate. Take the 2nd right on Trust and follow the road toward and Sullivans will be on your right.
How frickin' difficult is that? Yeh, I didn't mention dodging the vagrants and panhandlers. If the area would build up some nicer businesses, maybe the cops would see a reason to chase the trash away.

Sullivan’s
I can reverse sear a Costco steak that tastes better than Sullivan’s.
I can wipe my arse with a Walmart steak that tastes better than Sullivan's.

It's a lot harder for people that have never been or people from out of town. Plus when you get to the stop sign on trust, all you see is the garbage area with nothing besides the awnings (with small lettering) telling you it's Sullivans.
I've been on the phone with multiple people trying to explain to them how to get there. Bigger point I was trying to make is that shopping center is a shithole but the owners won't do anything to fix it. Why do you think the "construction" has completely stopped on the area between the old fox and clicks? They torn down the vacant building that 20 years ago was a bank, were supposed to update the facade, add new stores and make the place more visible. Well they tore down the old building, realize the homeless of BR had lived in the old building for 20 years without care and stopped working. It's been idle for 3-4 years now.

It’s appalling and at the same time odd that fox and hound has been closed for 5 years now and absolutely nothing has come in its place. Clicks seems dead too. So basically, on one of the most visible shopping centers in Baton Rouge, you have Sullivan’s and Hooters. That shopping center is an eyesore.
Hayride Scandal is solid.

Was Fox and Hound not making money? They seemed to have had a good and steady crowd.

Maybe not!
Explain that sea bass that smelled like it had been soaked in bleach and the obviously corked bottle of wine that they very reluctantly swapped out for me.
This happened on two different visits. The fish incident has kept me away from there permanently.

They were slowly going downhill. They were packed on fight nights but they would lose their arse on those nights because they didn't take a card from people and everyone just walked out on tabs. Besides pool, most of the rest was dead towards the end besides the occasional table here or there. As someone mentioned, they were always super slow during lunch.

Handsy and hugging to a point that made them uncomfortable. 1 of them was on the shy/innocent side so you could say she was overreacting. Leo’s work product speaks for himself - he is a very good restaurant manager - and I have no problem saying that.

Sullivans used to have a pepper encrusted 2" thick ribeye that was hands down the best steak I have ever eaten
Last time I was there, I was told they no longer offer it. Admittedly it had been a while since I had eaten there.
