How do y'all handle rude people in restaurants????

So it finally happened.. We eat out with my little one probably 10 times a week and have had ZERO issues .. It took almost three years but it happened.

We are at a restaurant and my kid wanted to switch seats to one that was across the table.. While said kid was getting out of the chair, the chair slipped out and kid fell .... No crying at all ... But a "lady" sitting at the table next to us proceeds to look at my wife and say "I didn't come here for this kind of ambiance" ... Mind you we are at basically a chain restaurant ... Anyway the wife probably should have keep her mouth shut but said "Sorry, I don't think we really interrupted your meal"

Well then all hell breaks lose .. The lady turns back around and says "yes, I didn't come here to be bothered by a bitch like you. Please stay out of my business"

At that point I stand up and tell her to calm down and shut up ... She did and that was really there end of it but I am so pissed right now ... Mind you her man never budged this whole time .. If weren't for the fact that my kid was there and I have a previous commitment to 12 other kids tomorrow at 7:00 am - I would probably have went over to her table and done some things that would have put me in OPP tonight (and her man was a big big man so I would have probably got my arse kicked in the process lol) ...

I'm a pretty laid back person but this really pissed me off ... I kind of want to go back and start shite with them but I'm not ..

Ok --- sorry for the vent but now I feel a little better

It happens. Let it go and be thankful she's not in your life on a regular basis. She may have just found out a friend was ill, husband cheating or kid is back on drugs...... She was wrong, but don't let it bother you.

You shouldn't let it bother you. At all. Who cares what that bitch thinks. Just laugh and enjoy your meal next time.

I remember my first time at Shoney's.

Tell her to frick off, tip over her drink, and go about your bidness. If she says anything else, tip over her other drink

You should have calmly walked over, sat down next to her, and slap her man as hard as you could across his face. Then start silently drinking his milkshake.

Order it to go and eat at home.

I have 3 kids. 7, 3, and 8 mos. We learned this early on. Lots of people are miserable and want you to share theirs. Save yourself the stress. Enjoy a more intimate family atmosphere at your own table and for Petes sake, cook with them more often.

Stock response here for most issues with a "lady" of this kind: "I know it's been a long time but I paid you for that entire night even though I left after we transacted our business."

Me neither. Feed your fricking kid a home cooked meal loser. It's really not that hard. If you wanted to keep acting like you didn't have kids you shouldn't have become parents.

Would have put my honking dick on the table right in front of her and told her to shut the frick up or she was getting that nasty ninja upside her face.

Damn, so she called you a bitch.

Wow, she must have been trailer trash city, who does that. How old...and classy, clothes/appearance-wise? was this couple?
