I don’t even think my high school would of allowed a 21 year old attend any of these events

I think you're mistaking career and education for maturity, which is a really narrow view of things.

False

I'm not equating the two, it is my experience that a hs kid is going to have a different view point of the world and different priorities than a kid in college or an adult in the workforce/world. Do you disagree?

Yes, I do agree that an 18/19 year old girl can be more mature than a 21/22 guy, but to be fair that's not saying much.

I know there are always exceptions to the rule, but let's not act like it's the norm.

Also, keep in my mind the topic isn't over an 18/19 year old college girl, or hs graduate. The question is about a girl who is literally still in hs and going to dances.

A couple of years older at that time in their lives isn't a really big deal. Now, getting up to the mid 20's with an 18 year old girl is a stretch. However, a 29 year old guy with a 22 year old girl isn't that strange, either.

I was about 21 when I dated an 18 year old. I had known her most of her life, and quite frankly, she was blossoming into an attractive girl that I had just overlooked all that time.
Wasn't long afterwards though, she got too slutty and fell off the wagon for a few years letting guys take advantage of her. I had moved on by then, but I always sort of felt sorry for her. I think she has regrouped now and has settled down. I hope so, she would be in her mid 40's now.

A 16 year old is a child. It's weird the difference between a 16 year olds real maturity and how mature the 16 year old thinks she is.

A girl at my school was dating a 23 yr old when she was 16. They basically lived together too since her parents were divorced and mom just DGAF. Guy wasn't really a loser though. Owned his own business, was a former Mr. Louisiana for bodybuilding, etc. He went to prom with her and hung out with us on weekends. Of course this was the 90's so even though we were all underage, we still hung out in bars like Quill's, Bruno's, The Duck, Tuck's, AT II's, etc every weekend. Probably wasn't much different for him than a girl his own age.
No one really seemed to care back then. Nowadays, everyone would lose their mind.

Most people forget a 18-19 year old girl is probably more mature than a 21-23 year old baw

If this is true today (I know it generally was true when I was younger) then we are in bad shape as a society. The teenage girls today are incredibly immature on average. If a boy who has been in either the work force or college for a few years isn’t more mature than the average 18 yr old HS girl then he might have psychologically stunted growth.

Sexually I have NO qualms with 18/19 year old.

But to participate in a group that is predominantly 18/19 on more than just a 1 on 1 level is bizarre.

If you dont believe me pull any 18/19 year old kid to the side and start asking them about politics, money, etc.

Then again there are 30 year olds who would give equally stupid answers.

Related note, there's always two or three 30-40 year old dudes at sorority formals standing around looking embarassed to be there.
