I try to go three months, but usually after 6 weeks or so I'm starting to get burnt out and looking for something different.

Every once in a while I'll throw in a leg work out. But those days are too hard.

I don't have a routine as far as muscles worked on certain days, but the exercises I work for each muscle group are pretty constant. I may change the order I do the exercises or maybe make minor adjustments if a machine is taken.

My routine changes every 6 weeks or so but it's definitely not set in stone. The easiest thing to do is change from barbells to dumbbells or vice versa

If something is working, I never change it.

However, today is Memorial Day, so Murph was on tap.

1 mile run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile run

The last mile was easier than the first mile.

I just get sick of doing the same thing over and over. It gets to the point that I can't stand to do it any more and I have to come up with something else.

I change every 6 weeks. I workout at home with videos, so usually just add some more weight to my excercise. Or I will either run faster on the treadmill or add wrist weights while running for more resistance. Same thing with ankle weights in the bike. May not seem like much, but it really works.

Do you have a regular work out partner or did you ask a random to spot you while you maxed out?

Random guy, but not some scrawny dude who curls in the squat rack.

My schedule is irregular so I grab whoever is available, explain a couple of things, like no liftoff help and where I expect to struggle, and I get after it.

Did you do it with or without the vest? Did you partition?

I did no vest, no partition. 39:45.

Sometimes I'll keep doing the same exercises and change the sets or reps, sometimes I'll throw everything out and start over fresh.

Yea, ok. tell me how your arms feel after doing 100 kipping pull ups. I'm sure it will feel precisely like 0 pull ups.
