Huge fan of IWC Portuguese watches. When I get to buy a "dress" watch they will be up there.

That Cosmonaut is fantastic. How long did it take to get used to the 24hr movement?

Thanks buddy! I think it's probably much easier for someone with a military background who's used to doing the Zulu thing a lot. It still takes me a double take or two if I haven't been wearing it for awhile.

Been wearing it a lot lately though because I haven't come clean with the better half on the Blackbird purchase yet!!

Also, everyone in this thread who isn't a member at Broke's forum needs to get over there and register now!! Good stuff. I have a few new additions I need to go add on the "Affordables" page.

It's a true 24hr movement. The hour hand goes around once every 24 hours instead of every 12. It's a fabulous watch

The ploprof is my grail watch. I probably could have bought it 4 times but I just haven't found the one I want. I'm going vintage for this one

Love to see a pic of it! I lusted after the Skyracer bracelet for two years but could never manage to pull the trigger. Finally picked up a couple of the Vollmer bracelets in the Cosmo pic. Doesn't truly match with the polished finish off the Navi, but I think they look cool!

This has always been my favorite go with anything rolex. I think a whiter looking face looks even better.

Check out the Yacht Masters. This watch seems to fit your parameters.

By yourself a nice one to hand down to your son.

But buy this one for an everyday wearer.

It's absolutely ridiculous that grown men feel the need to spend serious money on a fricking watch

What's ridiculous is that you feel the need to cuss and bitch about.
