My puppy chewed up a plush toy one Sunday and wouldn’t stop puking and shivering. I rushed her to the Emergency Vet.... I knew I was in trouble when they started talking about “Financing” options for the battery of tests they wanted to run....I asked if they could just give her something to stop vomiting and that I’d watch her overnight. Dog was fine an hour later. Still cost me over $300.
What I’m avoiding. He seems fine now. Sleeping. I’m going to watch him all night.

If you listen to anybody on here, listen to this person. Those last three letters in the user name are kind of ones you should pay attention to.

Could have something lodged in his intestines. I would take him in asap for xrays. Make your stupid, irresponsible friend pay the vet bill.

It's not like the friend fed the dog legos. Does the friend have kids? That lego could have been hidden behind a couch or something for weeks and the dog found it and ate it. Or the dog got into the kids room for a minute and ate a few before being caught. I don't think it is fair to assume the friend just ignored the dog and tried to kill it. The friend may have not even realized the dog ate the lego. It would only be uncool if the friend didn't say anything despite knowing.

Not to derail, but find every German Shepherd owner annoying when they use "GSD" instead of just saying German Shepherd.

find a better friend to babysit, actually if he ever asks you to babysit his kid...feed the kid a lego.
