Do you have the word "realtor" at the end of your social media handle? And if so, why? No other profession does this. Please enlighten me

It’s kind of like the douche bag lawyers that put esquire behind theirs.

Not a realtor -but in the finance business. They typically list the title to cover themselves. There is a certain amount of disclosure required if they post anything about real estate. Regulators have slapped them for even commenting on how a particular house in the neighborhood looks.

Until you’ve put in the long hours studying to pass that test you wouldn’t understand. You earn the title. I’d say the real estate licensing exam is harder than the bar

Remember, only realtors are members of the National Realtors Association.

I think most do it to differentiate between their personal and business pages.

Part of what I do involves title research. I took the real estate exam to win a bet with a friend who said something similar. Passed it after looking over a study guide for a couple hours the night before the test. I could not just randomly go pass the bar exam doing the same amount of preparation.

If the real estate exam is so much easier than the bar exam why are there so many lawyers and so few realtors?

It’s incredible the amount of jealousy there is towards realtors.

The innerwebs will soon ruin this profession.
Real estate and auto dealers are next in line to be chewed up like travel agents and news media have already been.
The profession will still exist but there will be far fewer and it will be difficult for people to build any wealth in that line of work.

Lol. Realtors are one of the only professions that will always be needed. You can look at houses on the internet all you want but you’ll always need a realtor to use his/her knowledge to close the deal. Without realtors the average buyer would overpay by several percent.

Why do Doctors of religion put DR in front of their name like they are medical doctors.

I'm just glad the ghetto made up middle name fad is over.
