I suggest you learn to fight dirty. I threw my 17 year old through a fence once when he got nasty mouthed with his mom.

That's the early stages of thinking with the wrong head. It never get easier you just learn to adapt.

No....my 19 yr old daughter (no pics, sorry) has been easier to raise than my 16 yr old son. Anything to do with maturity and responsibility has been more difficult with him, since my daughter has handled those areas almost flawlessly.

They call him Crazyturkey for a reason. But a teenage son is gonna try ya. I value my fence too much to sling him through it.

2 sons and zero drama.
the oldest one (almost 15) is in the process of learning the hard way that he ain't gonna disrespect him momma, and he's not man enough to challenge me on that rule yet.
the youngest (12) is borderline insane and worth every penny of the AFLAC policy i got on him. lil shite is small for his age but strong as an Ox. i dread the day i have to stand face to face with him because he'll probably whip my arse. dude is psycho already.

Never fought mine either.
Thought about it once. Then he gave me a look that told me it was a bad idea.

Haven't made it to the teenage years yet, but hands down my girl has been easier than my two boys so far.
My boys will try and fight me (not literally) tooth and nail over every little thing. My daughter usually does what she is told and is generally in a good mood. We'll see what happens when the hormones take over lol.

Mine are teenagers now so they're both a pain in the arse. Growing up my son was way easier.

Idk man, my brother and I raised way more hell and got in way more trouble than either of my sisters

I have raised both. Boys are easier. Just keep good medical insurance on them and know that you are going to make one or two trips to the emergency room. They do stupid crap during adolescence that hopefully they will survive. They're still immortal at that age.
Girls. hmmmm Sweet during early childhood, easier to toilet train, will steal your heart. When they reach middle school age, the hormones kick in and the turn into the exorcist. Very mean spirited towards each other. At that age literally standing in the doorway with their Barbie Doll in one hand and their wedding dress in the other. As they age, they get interested in penises and are going to find the biggest most godforsaken sob to bring home to let you know what they are planning to frick later that night. If they don't see a rise in blood pressure, they throw that putz in the garbage can and go seek out something worse. You send them off the college hoping they don't come back with a baby inside them. The wedding, while expensive will be the best monetary investment you will make as they become someone else's problem. If the marriage holds after a few years, they get tight with you again, and yes, even look out for you and take care of you.

Girls are easier til about the age of 13. After that, boys.
13-16 year old girls were truly changed by some freaky voodoo into a creature that will try every nerve, moral, value that you're aware of. If as a parent you emerge through this spell that Mephistopheles has cast upon your "princess" with 50% of said nerves, morals and values, you're due a statue and national holiday. Their mission is to break your will, your marriage and your sanity

Boys are easier but there comes a point when he is a teenager and gets mouthy where you gonna have to show em you still got the ole man skills.
