My sister, early 50's, feels a "specll" coming on then she can't move for a couple of minutes. She can hear what is going. She says her family doctor says it is not a TIA.

Thoughts? It has happened recently four or five times.

Psychogenic dissociative condition it sounds like.

Is she under a lot of stress? Does she have anxiety?

Had a coworker who had something similar however her lack of movement was limited to her feet. Turned out to be intercranial pressure from a cyst.
