That was freakin impressive. And hilarious.
I believe Mikelbr deserves the credit for that one.

You are very fortunate to still be employed. If you'd have been involved in an accident in a company vehicle and not reported it you would have been terminated almost anywhere else

To illustrate why you might consider my friendly advice:
How's that helix with QSC K 12.2 speaker working out for you?

Gotcha. So I cancelled the photobucket account which I never used. Shoot me an email when you get a chance. I’m guessing you already got that.
Oh and 960 FTMFW!!!! Sent the helix back, hated it.

You do realize you are not obligated to call the police when you get into an fender bender?
moral of this story is ALWAYS call police and to get them to write a repirt.
I backed into a junk car and barley added to the already damaged vehicle and didnt call cops. I just gave them my license and insurance...got f u c k e d when they filed a $2700 claim for a tiny scratch on a already fricked up bumper.

I just did what I was told to do.

You're extremely lucky they didn't fire you. Not reporting an accident in a company vehicle is an automatic pink slip almost everywhere.

So is this the summary:
Hit car in parking lot- lady says naaaaaah, no need to file paperwork. You call the boss man and he says to give her his card. Now he’s just billing you in full instead of using any insurance...
Yea, they are all schmucks but you don’t come off particularly sharp.
Also, does anyone else picture the OP rolling up to this ladies house on a Saturday afternoon with a 6 pack ready to do some trim work

I was on the phone with my boss the whole time and followed his directions, so I'm not worried about that. I'm Just pissed cause my company boned me. I would've been cool with paying the insurance deductible. I could handle 500, but 1100 is tough. Oh well, it is what it is.

Because I bumped into a car. There wasn't too much I could do. My boss said he was taking care of it. Tell me what I could've done differently. Should I have filed a police report, probably. I doubt it would've change anything.

Did you sign or agree to anything when you accepted the responsibility of driving a company vehicle?
The last place I worked that gave out trucks you were responsible for the $500 deductible if you caused an accident.

I asked my boss to pull my new hire paperwork, but every time I ask, he plays dumb or puts it off. I'm just fed up. I got an interview next week with another company. I guess not filing it on insurance could turn out to be a positive because I know most companies don't like hiring people with accidents on their record.

Looks like some states (like LA) generally prohibit deductions for such matters. Others allow it, and some allow it if the employee has consented.
Found this re Alabama law:
Deductions from Wages LINK
Alabama does not have any laws regarding what deductions may or may not be taken from an employees paycheck or whether an employee must provide written consent prior to any deduction. The lack of a law prohibiting deductions likely means an employer can withhold or deduct wages from an employees pay check for:
cash shortages
breakage, damage, or loss of the employer’s property
dishonored or returned checks
required uniforms
required tools
other items necessary for employment
In accordance with federal law, an employer may not make deductions for any of the above-listed items if it would cause the employee to earn less than federal minimum wage for the period in which the deduction was made. DOL Fact Sheet #16. Deductions to pay for an employee’s portion of any fringe benefit would be permissible.

Even if you contacted the police, all they would have done was a report and based on the information they obtained, determined who was at fault. Even then, it’s soley up to insurance companies to determine fault, damages, and payouts.
You could probably hire an attorney and get some relief on the estimate but attorney fees, for a modest, decent attorney are gonna cost you 3-5 times the damage estimate. More than likely, the estimate included the deductible.
