Saying something is statistically rare (which is true) now implies racing knowledge?

Should we also assume that you are also somewhat familiar with the personality of Tony Stewart?
If so, would you find it out of character for Mr. Stewart to see how close he could get to a driver trying to show him up at a podunk little dirt track? Maybe even bump out of the way, or throw some dirt on him?
Or would you find that highly unusual for Mr. Stewart's personality?
I would say show me an instance where he's tried to buzz someone standing on a race track before.
ETA: For someone that came into this thread harping on "facts," you sure have gotten away from them mighty quickly.

He is driving a race car on a race track. His acceleration is consistent with the notion that Ward was unseen.
The sprint cars are designed to turn left. Always. The track Tony is focused on is to the left of center.
These cars are always in gear. There is no clutch. To turn, you need power.
It's the same principle when you are instructed to not use your brakes in a skid. You lose control that way.

Even on the vids you linked, Tony was the "wronged" party. Thus, the anger.
In this case, there's at least some reason to think he didn't even know he took Ward out (speculation).
IOW, TS wouldn't have even been mad, so why try to throw dirt on the guy or brush him back?

But you can't tell which car is making the noise.
No but the acceleration noise seems to pretty well coincide with his car getting loose and hitting Ward. Obviously I dont think he meant to kill just meant to be a dick and maybe kick up some dirt on him but instead the tragic accident happened. obviously ward shouldnt have been on the track but had stewart not tried to act like a hard arse behind the wheel it could have been avoided.

Not at all. But if that was his intention that would have been what would have happened. Not this dude getting under his rear tire.
Pretty fine line there, I'd say.
Oh well, Tony knows what he did, and he gets to live with it, either way.
Obviously, he can never admit his intention if it was to "buzz" him. Probably to no one.

Jesus H. Christ.
STOCK CAR RACING IS NOT THE SAME AS SPRINT CAR RACING.
Maybe if I type this in all caps people will understand. That car doesn't operate like your vehicle on your morning drive to work.

I keep seeing this being said. When the hell has this ever been done on a dirt track, or even to someone that is not in a race car?
Ignorance does not make you stupid, but to continually argue things when you are ignorant does.

Kevin was the wronged guy in this situation. Surely you saw how Tony ran him up the track into the wall?
Tony didn't show up at this little track to let some little punk get out there and shake his fist at him. Tony has more pride than that.

Some media folks seem to think "Sprint Cup" and "sprint cars" are somehow related. By that rationale, Bob Seger & Bob Newhart are brothers.

You have no idea what you're talking about, yet you spew this bullshite. I'm beginning to see why innocent people end up behind bars.

First look how shitty your visability is to begin with. Second take a look at his front tires throughout the turn, they are moving multiple directions because hes trying to keep it stable.

You do realize this happened under yellow?
Posted on 8/11/14 at 1:58 pm to TigerFred
It's just frustrating to see people that don't understand the subject matter try to dissect a video. It would be like me trying to explain a rugby play because I enjoy watching a ton of NFL and College football.

And that giant top wing definitely can't block your view if you are behind it.

Tough to keep it stable when some idiot is out of his car in the middle of a turn, wouldn't you say?
