Local pharmacy told us it would be over $100 per dose too. Costco had the same shite for like $15. Get your prescriptions sent to costcos pharmacy.

What kinda crappy insurance does he have? I paid under 10 bucks for a z-pack and tamiflu a couple weeks ago.

Xofluza is way more expensive than tamiflu.

It's a reasonable question. The main reason is to limit development of antiviral resistance in the community.

It causes major hallucinations so I’m sure people would abuse the shite out of it.

It's to limit the supply to those who actually test positive for the flu so anyone with a cough doesnt buy it. Plus is has to be mixed and refrigerated.

At best it reduces symptoms for like 12 hours

But people think it’s the absolute cure so they run and buy the tamiflu and it’s not worth the $100 people pay for it

You can treat it with OTC products and be just fine

I was just in Mexico. I spotted at a pharmacy and bought a ton of Tami-flu and all the Zpacks they had in stock.
I skipped on the individual wrapped Lortabs and percocets though.

Tamiflu? I took it for 5 days a couple weeks back and had zero hallucinations. It did essentially put a halt on my fever though, so that was appreciated:

This is BS, I had a 104 fever that wasn’t dropping with OTC meds, took my first dose of Tamiflu and it dropped it to 99 and I didn’t have another fever over 100 after that.

The one pill antiviral for Flu isn’t Tamiflu, it’s Xofluza.
