Nah no way. First thing is that kid didn’t just wake up one day and decide he had his old mans balls. He’s been getting away with it his whole life. So first thing is start by getting the bluff on him when he’s young and it probably wouldn’t be that bad. Second, all teenage boys get that groggy feeling once in their life. It’s a Dads God given responsibility, not a right, a RESPONSIBILITY, to kick his arse and make sure he never thinks about pulling something like that again.

Watching the second video makes me think it’s fake. Weak headlocks on each other and then they go out of frame. Pick it back up and he’s “out”. If it’s real, it’s the least satisfying knockout ever.

That video is more about the parents allowing behavior to lead to that point.

Address it early and often in childhood....never let it even begin.

While the kid may have some other issues, it's the parents' responsibility to manage them. Its called work.


The folks in that video have already lost the war. The kid will react violently and the only way to mitigate it is with a strong physical response/law enforcement intervention.

This is what “timeouts” as kids leads to. Use the belt early on and you don’t have this problem when they get older. I never would’ve have dreamed of doing this to my dad

Dad told me that when he was 16, he told his dad that "he was a man now and could do whatever he wanted to do" and that "he didn't have to take orders from Dad any more." Grandpa got out some boxing gloves and proceeded to give my Dad an old fashioned whipping.

I never tried that with Dad.
