Got rear ended the other day and my car has officially been totaled. Was stopped at a light and girl in a Expedition slammed into me and crushed my back end.

I was rocking a credit card millionaire super cool dude bro 2008 BMW 328i series that I bought new and have driven since '08. Aside from the dealership turning into mega assholes once all my warranties ran out and the horseshite prices for any minor repairs I've loved the car.

The only other vehicle I've owned was a 1997 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer that I had for 10 years. I also loved that vehicle and never really had many problems with it aside from having to replace a battery and the Firestone tires of death.

My SO currently drives a 2014 Honda CRV and I do like that car quite a bit but don't want to rush into buying one just like hers w/o trying out some other vehicles.

A crossover might be the best option for me b/c I do kind of want something bigger but I also want something that will handle well w/some pickup due to Dallas drivers being crazy mofos.

I probably willing to go as high as $50k if the car is worth it. It can be used but I would like it to be new enough that it at least has a rear camera.

What all is out that y'all think I might like based on what I've driven?

I was in a similar situation this year with almost the exact same car. The girl's insurance gave me A LOT for that vehicle so I upgraded to a 5.

33, no but probably will within the next couple of years, low mileage would be good but safety features take top priority

Sabi, OP will need more juice than many of those on your list.

Can you get the 3.5 in the MKX?

Pilot is new for 2016, not always a bad thing, but may want to wait a year or so.
