Bernard Cornwall's Enemy of God. Book two of his Arthur series per TD recommendation.

Re reading The Fellowship of the Ring. I haven't read it since middle school. I'll probably have a different perspective on it now.

I'm in the minority, but I found this book to be underwhelming despite the fantastic "story"

I agree to an extent. The reviews were very good, and I guess I had very high expectations for it, which were likely unattainable. I'm almost done with it, and all in all it has been an entertaining read.

I had just finished In the Garden of Beasts, also by Erik Larson, which was fantastic.
