OT Ballers, why don't you move away and retire?

I don't know why people continue to work if you could retire and see the world on an income of as little as 2k/month.
2k is nothing to ballers (a couple rental properties can get you that) , but you insist on working 40+ hours and sit in 10+ hours in traffic, complaining about North BTR or whatever. Why do you feel like you have to live here?
Considering the Purchasing power of the dollar, you can get great deals on furnished apartments in better areas than Baton Rouge that you can travel between.
2 bed/2 bath in Italy $700/Month
3 bed/1 bath in Poland $550/month
3 bed/2bath Penthouse in Guadalajara for $1,000/month
2 bed/ 1 bath on beach in Panama $800/month
3 bed/ 2.5 bath in Ecuador for $750/month
2 bed/2 bath Ocean view home in Fiji for $900/month
Didn't even bring Asia into this......even cheaper.
All turn key, stay for a few months and then go someplace else and you know..."live life".
I mean, I guess if tailgating 8 times a year between your visits to Walmart does it for you, standing behind 4 inch nails with an EBT card, then you sir cannot be dragged away from BAWville. But for you that can imagine a life outside of the boot, why don't GTFO?

If I wasn’t such a pussy I would do this in like 5 years. Alas.

It’s called having a family. You know, kids, parents? Sorry you’re so lonely.

Why the hell would someone want to live in a place like Ecuador?
Is that supposed to be "livin' it up"?
Third world life?
I'll take Walmart and the first world, any day.

Which one of those do you live in tough guy? Why not move to Africa for even cheaper?
I prefer to live in the greatest country in the world and have crawfish boils with my family while streaming LSU baseball.
Enjoy winters in Poland douche.

Last time I was in the Bahamas, drunk me did some back of the envelope math and realized I could buy a shack and live out my days selling seashells or whatnot while drinking on the beach with what I have in my 401K. Then I sobered up and realized frick that. I want my LSU football games, Mardi Gras and my two hot rod cars. I actually enjoy running my business as well.

Your kid learning 3-4 languages while attending an international school....is worse than the best Methingston Parish Schools?

My single buddy (1 kid) lucked into a 750K cashout, blew it on a huge lake front home in floodsville, a jacked up truck, and a sport-scar (for better gas mileage)...because he wants his kid to go to LSU in 5 years and have a place to stay with him.
Can't seem to understand that his kid won't want to stay when she hits 18 and doesn't want to driver 45 mins to campus each way. So he'll be alone in a 4k sqft home and mechanic bills on his 5 year old 70% DEPRECIATED vehicles....when he could have had it made.(still could, but not like before)
