OT ballers, any of you ever bought an Infiniti SUV for your bawette?

The wife (no pics) and I are in the market for a new SUV. She really likes the Infiniti QX50 and they are reasonably priced. Just wondering how they hold up over time? Do they cost a fortune to maintain and repair like a Mercedes, BMW, etc? I’m a Toyota loyalist, so I don’t want to go from a reliable car to overpriced garbage.

I would suggest not buying the Chinese knockoff Infinity brand, you will be far happier with the real Infiniti brand.

that's for the poors, Range Rover or nothing.

Are you a baller if you get anything less than the QX80?

Don’t do it
I bought the big bubble and it’s not a great ride.

Dropping 70k on a car seems like a bad investment.

I've got the QX60. Infiniti discounts aggressively so you can get a lot of tech for your money. But my firm leased mine for me so I was not concerned about long term maintenance. After 30,000 miles, I've had no issues.

Infiniti has a great product and even better service.
You can get the Nissan armada platinum top of the line loaded for less money- Infiniti has a few amenities but basically same vehicle.
drove Infiniti's for over 15 years , owned 6 of them. Lexus rides better, Infiniti is more sporty and tuned.
Service is great at both places but they are not as expensive as a Merced. LandRovers stay in the shop!
If you like toyota why not look at the Toyota, load it down Platinum is a very nice vehicle

Infiniti isn’t terrible, but all of the competitors are better which is why they are so reasonably priced.

Probably fine unless it has a CVT transmission.

Get a Lexus.

Infinitis are sporty, but suffer from the same quality issues as Nissan.
Go for a Toyota/Lexus if you want a smooth ride, or Acura if you want a little sportiness with more reliability.

I have a 2017 QX80 for sale that I'll make you a deal on.

Infiniti has literally given up on upgrading the interior or tech. It’s pathetic.
A 2009 has the same shite as 2019

Wife has QX60. It’s about 7 months old. No problems so far. Drives good the few times I’ve driven it. Especially in Sport mode.

2018 QX60 has done well for us. There are a few things I don't like about it, but maintenance and performance have been solid for 2+ years.
