Get back to me when Texas legalizes weed, and I'll start a little pot garden.

No.

There's not a play right there consistent enough to have 51 acre spacings.

I think you're confused with production in this area or you have no clue. The video states a 1/10th of the property has been developed with 1,000 oil wells. I'm assuming it was 40 acre/spacing or less since a lot of stuff in that area is. So you are right about 10,000 wells, but wrong about the spacing.

No way 10,000 oil wells are online.

That climate would be a huge bitch to grow anything decent on. I'd plant a bunch of San Pedro instead.

Now, please enlighten me on a play in the area of this ranch that could take on 10,000 wells, like the OP posted.

It's not a resource play. I never said it could handle 10,000 wells. I called BS on your spacing.

But the Original Poster said it had 10,000 wells. That's was my point.

I didn't read the article. Don't care to because I don't have $750 million and even if I did I wouldn't buy that.

I was simply saying if you plug that amount of wells into the entire acreage, you get 51 acre spacings and there's no play(s) up there with that capacity.

If he was sitting on top of la salle, McMullen and frio counties, he may be onto something.
