It's against the rules in my Family to get a tattoo. It's punishable by being disowned.
Nobody can even enter my Family who has a tattoo. I'm sorry to say it.

The OTs obsession with hating something that’s on someone else’s body truly needs to be studied. It’s absurd the hard opinions that are thrown out on these threads….really remarkable.
I’ve had tattoos for over ten years. I love every single one. Have one representing each of my children, the rest are a road map of my life, similar to the hard hat stickers I’ve collected over the years when I was in the field. Mine are in a style that will last a long, long time (American traditional). I’ve had phenomenal conversations with really interesting people while sitting in their chair for 5+ hours. Learned a lot about others. Appreciated their talent. I will never regret mine because every time I look at a particular one, I smile.
Again, remarkable the amount of 260# and over slobs on this site that pretend to have the moral high ground because they chose not to get a tattoo while some of us chose to have them. Live and let live dude!

Good Christian ladies don’t get wet looking at old nasty tats

That said, face and neck tattoos deserve the death penalty…
Folks that have them don’t always get the death penalty, but many are living in cells in prisons all over the world.

Crying laughing is not what most people think about when they use that term, but here you are thinking outside the box. Pun intended.

I got my dog tags tattooed to my rib cage when I was in infantry school for the Marines and drunk on a weekend liberty 25 years ago.
It looks like I slept on a receipt. Who knows how many skanks have stolen my identity before I woke up and left in the morning.

I’ve always imagined grandkids crawling on one of those mawmaw’s and saying “. MawMaw tell us the story of that night you had the unicorn tattooed on your boob “

frick, this whole board bitches about something. Tattoos, terrible when you get old; bang lots of chicks - going to get an STD, etc etc. Well, when you get old you don’t give a frick, and get off my lawn.

Can one define a good tattoo? I have never seen one. They are all shitty.
I have never seen a single person that looked better with a tattoo.

Not sure either but the smart play for the future is investing in tattoo removal shops

Women and tatoos, not a good combo. Bad look.

Speaking from experience, I concur

Never had one and will never get one.

I use to think I could get some. But I never loved anything enough to permantly look at it everyday or put it on my body.
I dont love myself either.
