Last night I woke to a loud noise like metal busting. One boom and that was it. Water comes out of all my faucets fine.

Besides visually seeing water shooting out of a pipe, how else can I tell if my pipes busted last night?

Just put on a jacket, go out outside and look under the trailer real quick.

Did you check your meth lab? They have been known to explode.

Why do you desire a different way than this? Is this not enough?

I think....you suck.

go see if your water meter is moving. Of course if your line is frozen you will need to stay outside for hours to watch it until it thaws then report back to us.

Turn off all faucets in the house. Go outside and see if the red triangle in the meter is moving. If moving water leaking

Also will need to wait till temps get above freezing. If it's a dead end line like a hose Bibb. Then it could be frozen and you still get water everywhere else.

If your water pressure hasn't changed, the answer is likely no.

Exactly. If you turn all the taps on and have running water you don't have frozen pipes.

No. Pipes don't explode when they freeze, they gradually tear as the water inside expands and turns to ice.

The sound of residential piping, especially copper tube, splitting would be a barely audible crackle at best.

Actually, a few years ago, while the temperature was in the teens, I heard a loud bang about 5:00 AM. One of my neighbors pipes had burst. He had water running out from under his pier and beam house till he turned it off at the main and replaced the pipe himself.
