You got a brother about to blow up a building and know you'll be on the retaliation hit list? You'd definitely do what you can to stop it.

Off topic but one of his westernized sons used to own a stake in an airfield not far from my hometown in League City TX. It's since been closed and now it's one of those planned super neighborhoods with houses from 400k-5mil. Just my small little tidbit

A lot of the family has business ties to the US and don't follow the crazy jihad bullshite Osama did. Second thing is it wouldn't have prevented anything since the Iraq war had nothing to do with Osama bin Laden or Al Qaeda. The guy has been dead for how many years now and we're still in Afghanistan fighting off terrorists and also whatever remains of the Taliban. You would think after a decade of war that every Taliban member would be dead or in Guantanamo. It took less years to bring down the Nazis, who were far superior in organization, planning, firepower, and resources.
