You bash NOLA 24/7, I'm not too interested in discussing it with you.

How is that not a bad sign? Southern cities are booming all over and NOLA had a net loss re. moving in/out.
you realize this right?

I don't bash NOLA 24/7, the city has never been better re. good food, beer, festivals, etc. I bash people who bury their heads in the sand and pretend like the city doesn't have major fricking problems that will hold it back from progressing further. Notice I wasn't on the "muh statues" bandwagon of Livingston parish folk vowing to never return to NOLA.

Can you link me to some of these people?

That's the net loss. Does it not concern you that during a time when many urban centers are gaining drastic amounts of people NOLA had a net loss?

If you want to keep being wrong, absolutely.

What's your take on the current state of the city?

The current leadership is doing major harm.
It's not as bleak as you like to make it out to be though. It has the potential to be, but it isn't there yet.
Things absolutely need to change.
ETA: And don't think I didn't notice that I'm apparently your only example.

I would like to see some data on how many of the men moving to NOLA wear skinny jeans. I bet the number is very high.

What do you think the new administration would have to do to turn things around?

Did I ever deny that? My point was re. people moving in and out.

Why do you think growth has slowed so much? Could it be a lack of jobs available? Crime?

Who the fck cares? Oh my god hipsters!!!
Yeah, it's probably a lot of them and I know a lot of the gays. And it's all a good thing. They are gentrifying shite neighborhoods, spending money, and not being criminals.

Hipsters provide good coffee shops, brunch spots, and good beer. Never understood the hate of them moving in.

Do you see either of those getting better?
