Placebo effect. Congrats on spending $20 for a gallon of milk

t is, but also lasts twice as long
organic skim milk still actually looks and tastes like milk
Hmmmm, I'll have to try that.

it's not a placebo effect, but the fact that it lasts longer/tastes different has little to do with the organic methods.
Organic dairy pasteurizes at a higher temperature than regular dairy because there are fewer organic dairies and they usually have to transport the product further. The different pasteurization method extends shelf life and alters the flavor.

Raw milk is so good that it blows all other milk out of the water. Thick, creamy, full of flavor.....the first time I tried it, I felt as if I had been ripped off my whole life buying some watered down flavorless, garbage passed off as milk.

Raw milk is the best thing you will ever drink

Feliciana Farms Cream line milk.
Best tasting and most nutritious milk around.
The organic stuff may be steroid/antibiotic/etc free, but it's pasteurized at a higher temperature, killing the good bacteria along with the bad. The reason it lasts so long is because there is really not much in it alive to spoil.

I would never say it is better, it is different. But really grass fed, to me makes a good steak. It has enough fat for ribeye, strip and tenderloin and sirloin. Beyond that grain fed, which has more fat, to me is better for say brisket, chuck, ground etc...the lesser cuts.
But I will never pass on a grass fed, grain finished American Black Angus 2" thick ribeye medium rare with a bit of salt and pepper.

Organic milk stays fresher longer.

I'd pay good money to have a gallon of real milk delivered a week

Lol at the idiots paying more
If you only knew
I know a lot of farmers claiming organic and they are far from it
But go ahead
It's your money

I drink at least gallon a week, so that matters zero to me

well, unless it's not pasteurized, then all you have accomplished is to pay more for a product that is not very healthy
see, notmilk dot com
good luck with that
Posted on 1/31/16 at 10:10 pm to BayouSizzle
It's probably the placebo effect
Posted on 1/31/16 at 10:12 pm to Hammertime
I don't, and half a gallon will last me several weeks.
