I think I'm going to end up getting the suits from SS. Seems like the quality is slightly higher than indochino

If your measurements are "normal" Suit supply is a much safer bet than any of those MTM sites.

seek out a local tailor. odds are they have a supplier and can either make it themselves [bespoke] or send the measurement in [made-to-measure] and then do the finishing touches when delivered. the latter is the most likely, and the finishing tailoring should be free. oh, and it will all be cheaper.

Ok. Better selection and quality than what? I'm just trying to figure this one out and no I have no experience buying suits online.
I own four suits which I seldom wear. Three from McLavy and one made by Manuel Martinez. However as I've gotten older I wear blazers and sport coats much more often and probably have ten of them. I just like to buy different ones and different slacks which makes my wardrobe much more interchangeable.
Most places, at least around here and I mean men's stores have swatches to pick from so I get the selection.
So what if I want just a blazer? Or a pair of slacks? Where would I look for that? Same places mentioned?

I think you need to first figure out your price range. Mine is $400-$600. Everything I've read online has said that sites like suitsupply, indochino, standard, and black lapel = the best bang for your buck. You also live in New Orleans. There's way more store suit options than I have access to here in FL.

That's what poor people do. A guy that makes thousands upon thousands playing online poker doesn't need to buy a suit online
