quote:Yeah late in his life Oral had a “visit” in a vision of a 900 foot tall mafia Jesus. He was threatening to kill Oral if he didn’t come up with like $50 million. Wasn’t too long after that there was a big leadership change and Orals son became the figurehead.
Isn't he the one who said God would "call him home" (ie: kill him) if his viewers didn't donate a large amount of money to him? Sounds on the up and up for sure.

That’s the worst college experience I could ever imagine.
It's the yin to some openly liberal hellhole's yang. While going to school somewhere like Univ of Oregon or Univ or Vermont would suck, Oral Roberts would likely suck just as much.

The ByU kids are way happier than any other college campus I've been to. They are living like we felt in the 80s. It's wholesome AF. The kids are all really good looking. Very few are overweight - nobody has tats, everybody is smiling and cheerful.
I'd seriously consider converting just to be a part of that if I ever happened to meet a great Mormon girl by chance. Its definitely a time capsule to when / where we all claim to have been the happiest. I'd love to know if anybody has converted recently for the lifestyle and not really cared about the religious aspect.
Mormons are collectively speaking the happiest people I've ever met
They are all insanely happy and content and very good looking
I was talking to one for a bit, we never dated, and she told me all she wanted to do was get married and make her husband happy and travel the world having sex with him and eventually having kids and having a happy family.
I keep up with her on instagram and she is doing just that. They look incredibly happy.
frick it I'd convert too

The code of conduct incours disciplinary actions by the school if they lie, curse, smoke, drink, have sex or do gay shite.

Well, Oral Roberts was a pentacostal televangelist.
This isn't surprising.
This isn't surprising.

I have spent a lot of time with Mormons through work. They are extremely healthy and happy. However, they have a ton of pressure from the church and their fellow mormons to constantly be good mormons. It sounds exhausting and annoying. They are ALL up in their neighbors' business.

A school with expectations of behavior. The horror.

If in Tulsa, check out the campus. It's home to the world's largest praying hands, as well as a prayer tower designed by George Jetson.

Places like Auburn or Baylor aren’t “liberal hellholes” yet students aren’t required to go full priesthood.
