Wishful thinking unfortunately. Texas will be a swing state in 10 years. Not something I want btw.

They never do. They’ll find everything “wrong” with Texas culturally and vote on the social aspect and totally ignore the financial aspect.

Everyone can look at the current changes in Texas and recognize that that isn’t what is happening.

This depends entirely on what the parties look like. We're already seeing a shift.

This is huge news if true. SF and Silicon Valley have egos bigger than the Grand Canyon because of the tech giants. This will actually help the rest of the country to not have every tech company within a 5 mile radius of each other.

Not how it will go down though.

They gain without losing anything.

Agreed. I'm just joking a bit. The US will look like a Western European country from a political standpoint in 20-30 years. 60% tax rates, 15% unemployment and essentially single party rule.

It should definitely damper the crazy ideological bubble. Having big tech so intertwined with the craziest political actors we can muster hasn't been a fun experience.

Pretty funny when the company responsible for moving the Warriors returning from Oakland to San Fran nopes their way out of San Fran.

Well when you alienate a group with build a wall mantra after they supported Bush, maybe it's time to rethink a strategy.

Huge news for both San Fran and Austin.

I've been telling my wife for 5 years it is time to move.

She now, finally, may listen.
