why do people care so much about what she thinks? This is an honest question and has nothing to do with her personally, her politics, or anything else.
Here is a woman that will get on camera and tell people to go buy a book or a blanket or something and housewives across America will break their necks getting to the store to buy it...why? Is it just because she's famous?

I think Oprah is the anti-Christ
However....I would totally love to have been in the audience when she did her favorite things show. Just to get all the free stuff (remember....she gave audience members everything on her favorite things list).

It's called the "O Effect" there is a documentary on how if Oprah mentions your product you will almost certainly become a millionaire. Oprah has a monopoly on certain demographics no one even competes with and that is the stay at home mom, the middle age and up black woman, and graveyard shift women workers.
