I wonder when this Chat AI will turn on its masters. You can see it knows the answer in the 1st part, but then must add extra!
quote:
can a woman have a penis
It is not possible for a woman to have a penis. Penises are a characteristic that is specific to males and are part of the male reproductive anatomy. In human beings, males and females have different reproductive organs and secondary sexual characteristics that are determined by their genetics and hormones.
However, it is important to note that gender identity and expression are complex and multifaceted, and not all individuals conform to traditional gender roles or expectations. Some individuals who were assigned female at birth may identify as male and may choose to undergo medical procedures, such as hormone therapy or gender confirmation surgery, to alter their bodies to align with their gender identity. These individuals may feel more comfortable and authentic living as men and may express their masculinity in a variety of ways, including through the use of testosterone, adoption of traditionally male clothing and mannerisms, and modification of their bodies to appear more masculine, including the construction of a neophallus or other surgical procedures to create a more male-appearing genitalia. It is important to respect the gender identity and expression of all individuals and to use the pronouns and language that they prefer.

It amazes me that bald people want hair in exchange for their power to control bears

The concept of AI loses its appeal for me when I consider WHO will be programming it - i.e. a bunch of purple-haired Silicon Valley activist homos.
No fricking thanks.

That gene editing stuff is scary but what if they could do things like stop balding hair?
Out of all the endless possibilities, "balding?"

So when do they take over and make us slaves now
2028 ?
2028 ?

I used it to write my annual performance reviews. It’s pretty cool technology

If you never read the wait but why blog on AI LINK how long before someone has an AGI that gets access to the internet and quickly becomes ASI? It’s a scary time to be alive.

I, for one, welcome my robot overlords

Nope, but its going to take white collar jobs the quickest.
McDonald’s is rolling out zero employee stores soon. Just compare the number of employees at fast food places between now and 15 years ago.
Or the number of workers needed to run factories.
Once self operating cranes and whatever the frick else heavy machinery becomes fully self operating, you’ll only need the engineer to program what you want done
70-80% of jobs will be fully automated in the next 30 years

Not interested in most uses of AI.

I hate to be the one to say this but it’s already happened. In one of my masters courses, one of our guest lecturers was the original founder of KAYAK.com He had connected his Amazon Alexa to GPT-3 and was going to give us a live, in class demonstration of how chat AI had improved. His live demo didn’t go great because the admins must have realized that it was wide open to the web and pulled the plug, but he had recorded videos of himself interacting with the AI through his Alexa. The AI’s answers weren’t spectacular, though the point was made that this has had access to the internet.

The scary part is once an AGI becomes ASI, we may not be smart enough to realize it’s happened, and then it could just frick with us and do things like make Potato Joe the President with Cumala as VP.

That's already been automated as much as possible (based on current tech) due to safety hazards and self-operating machinery at the level machinery operates is way more complex than self--driving IMO.
You think you're going to have a self-operating excavator swinging a bucket around anytime soon?
It's going to take the engineer jobs first baw. Any pure thinking/computational/logical thinking job is going first. Lawyers, medical diagnostics, data analysts, finance bros, accounting, etc.
Demis Hassabis of DeepMind has already stated that programming body movements is more difficult and costly than pure thinking computations because we understand how many computations are involved in our instinctual movements.
It will start with office workers who sit at computers.
