Open carry is for drama kings/queens who want to attract attention.

You’ve managed to secure your spot as the OTs biggest weeping vagina in short order. Congrats.

You realizing he open carrying so that he can get to a lethal weapon as quickly as possible so that a lethal animal doesn’t end him.

seems like one of the most legit reasons to open carry possibly ever. but sure

Open carry SCREAMS to all: " Look at me, I have a gun-shoot me first."

yeah, he was crazy AF no doubt.

But you and I both saw the “sardine oil” scene and he needed it then and could in a similar situation, so to say there’s no point?

None of this happened.

Most definitely did, but obviously you know better.

I say this,

It doesn't really bother me one way or the other, just an observation.

but you ask this?

Why is it any of your business?

Generally when “I don’t care one way or another” I don’t pass judgements on things that aren’t my business and I certainly wouldn’t bother creating posts on the internet about those people.

but that’s just me.

I don’t think in your waist band is open carry, think that could be considered concealed.

It depends. I've tried to find a definition for what is "concealed carry" and I've yet to find one. I'm believing it's one of those things that's left for a jury to interpret.

If it's in the guy's waistband, but his shirt is tucked in behind it so you can clearly see he has a pistol from any angle where his body doesn't hide it from your view, is it really concealed?

Always thought open carry was ridiculous - if you’re a bad guy, who are you going for first?

This is unfortunately what it has evolved into. I get situations may call for open carry, but I would not want to go through life thinking I needed it all the time. There was a big stink by me about not being able to carry at the library.

Negative. There is a LA supreme court decision that covers this. A guy was arrested long ago in NOLA after someone reported him to the police for having a concealed handgun. The person who reported it saw part of the grip sticking out of his back pocket.

If memory serves me correct you might be referring to a 1976 case where someone claimed that a firearm in a holster was considered concealed since the holster covered up part of the firearm. The courts ruled that was nonsense.

You must not get out much. Typically when i see people open carrying, it’s either tryhards trying to get a reaction or flatbill wearing jackasses with their nickel plated hand cannons tucked in their waist bands. Most people conceal.

I’m still waiting on my permit to come in. I’ve got to be honest, if shite starts getting sketchy I’ve got a paddle holster I’ll start wearing open. I’d much rather conceal but I suppose that department has become nonessential at the state police office.
