Opelousas Man dies in Police Custody

It won't. He was a home invader, ran from the cops and most importantly, Opelousas is too small for the professional protesters to stage a nice, media-ready "demonstration."

I also think that people in the south of any color agree more on these types of things ( minus a big city ).
I think black and white people alike would have the:
dont do stupid shite and bad things wont happen to you i know its not 100% but i think its better than places like baltimore.

when I lived in Opelousas, at least half the cops were black. Good chance the arresting officers were black, so hopefully they don't make a racial issue out of this.

Most likely had a heart attack.
If the police hadn't chased him, handcuffed him, and put him in a patrol car (adding lots of stress) he'd probably be fine.
More out of control cops with no regard for the lives of the poor downtrodden citizen.
The humane thing is to let him go and soon enough he'll be killed naturally.

I don't think he was robbing. Nor do I think he was killed by any of the LEO's. He had some kind of medical problem. He went to the emergency room the night before. They gave the impression it may be a heart thing.
Also, a little while before he was arrested, he was beating on doors, asking for help and screaming that he was about to die.
His Linkedin page says he was employed as a driller at Noble Drilling since 2012- present.
