how much profit do the oil companies make per gallon?

I think people that complain about gas prices should drive less.

you problem is the government and taxes not oil companies.

yet you pay 400% profit for milk and never complain about milk on here. dairy farmers get paid on both ends

I'm assuming he means profit from the sale of the milk and then eventually the sale of the meat.

They agreed to possibly cut from 33 million a day to 32.5 million at next months meeting, where Russia is continuing to up their product by millions. This will do nothing in the grand scheme of things unless the dollar starts to weaken which will probably not happen.

I don't think you understand how hard it is to grow a million barrels a day. They could barely grow a million barrels a day in a couple years. The last time they grew production a million barrels a day in a couple years was over a decade ago when they had the lowest production rate since USSR days.

Plus, it's not as if Russia hasn't seen the effects of low oil price. They were onsides with a deal at the last OPEC meeting.

$2-2.25 is high enough gas prices. Plenty of money at that point for everyone to make plenty on a fillup.

Russia is up over 10.4 million/day (roughly 14%) of the worlds production. This cut will do minimal, as if the price gets over $50, the non OPEC members will produce more sending prices back down. I would actually like to see slightly higher oil prices as it is good for the economy as long as its not a big spike.
