Why are people not buying the iPhone 8 when they camped out for the 6?
My guess is the cost of manufacturing. It hasn't increased prices to the point that the phone companies can no longer sell the phones for 1/4 price.

I've had an LG XPower for a year and a half. Works perfectly and cost $79. People who buy a $799 iPhone, well I don't get it. What does it do that this LG won't that is worth,$720. Status maybe. We are not OT poor but that is throwing money away. IMHO of course.

I don’t understand why they put out the 8 and the x at the same time. Why not just go with the x? It’s much better in every way.

Same here, I have a $150 BLU 6.0 HD , does everything I need it do, on the latest Android software. NO way I'd spend $500 or more on a phone.

Why would they? I'm sure the design was ripped off and built by 3 different local companies and is currently selling over there for a quarter of the price.

Fair question. But the X has two things entirely unfamiliar to iPhone users while the 8 line are still powerful high end devices. It won't be surprising at all if many people find adjusting to the X to be something of a headache.

We'll see, but I think you can argue this low turnout for the 8 is a good thing for Apple. I'm no fan boy, but the demand for the X will probably be huge, and it's $200-$300 more than the 8 plus or the 8.

Im having a hard time justifying a 1000 phone that's in my hands for 3 years max.

Wait till the iPhone X drops. People will be lined up around the block. The design is different and they can finally show people they spent 1k on a phone. The 8 is basically the 7S and nobody wants that same shite.
