Don’t you agree that limiting time in store is better than staying in the store longer than needed?

nah, not at all. I don't do it anyway. None of the stores I've been in ever said anything. I wouldn't listen if they did.

not really. I'm no athlete, but I'm not obese or even fat.

I just do my own thing and laugh at all the hysterical people wearing gloves and masks like we're in the movie Contagion. I understand if you have health issues, but all the others look so fricking stupid.

Not at all.

You could be in and out in 30 seconds, but if you do things that can get you infected while you're in there, it doesn't really matter.

Inversely, if you're conducting yourself responsibly, you could be there for hours and it won't matter.

If you want evidence, just look at the employees who are there following the rules all day.

Because we are a nation of goobers, weeners who are afraid of dying, or should that be living, or both.

They are also assuming that people shop at the same pace.

I pass people all of the time in the aisle who are just staring at the products on the shelves, or if I need something at the end and they are shopping in the middle.

What do you think I’m doing? Licking everything

Running into fewer people > running into more people. The longer you’re in the building, the more people you are exposed to.

what about the people that work in the store everyday, all day? Guess they're all dead.

I wondered why the freezer seemed so full.

I meant "you" in a general sense.

I feel like you knew that and are being deliberately obtuse.

At least I hope that's what you're doing.

conducting one's self responsibly means running into zero people, hence the distancing stuff that we've heard ad nauseum.

"I mean you should never RUN INTO anybody, that's common courtesy!"

(See, that's me being deliberately obtuse.)

You're not exposed to anybody if you and others are doing shite right. This thing isn't a laser beam that can hit you from across the room.

Are you expect stop while the person in front of you debates which BBQ sauce to get or do you try to pull off a deadly pass maneuver?

Soooo. Say I’m going down the one way isle and Karen is sitting there fingering her fatrolls while trying to decide what kind of pizza she wants. Am I supposed to sit and wait for her to continue on? Can I pass her? Can I turn around and go the other way?

Do you think most grocery stores have air purification systems? You’re breathing the same air as everyone else no matter if you’re walking forwards, backwards, sideways, one-way or not. The only thing this virus has convinced me of is the gullibility of the typical person.

no. According to the sky screamers here, you have to wait for Mable to decide which box of Jiffy cornbread she wants to select. Likewise, if she backs up to look at the Martha White cornmeal...BACK UP!!! You must maintain a safe distance of 2 shopping carts.

If she has fat rolls, then she's probably pretty susceptible to this virus, so I'd hope you'd slightly inconvenience yourself in order to stay away from her.
