because you can walk/stand 6 ft behind someone. but, passing them on an aisle less than 6 ft across makes distancing kind of tough.

I think it's awesome and wish the aisles were like that all the time. Really clears up congestion in the aisles.

Must just be the idiots that shop at your Publix. The one by me was fine Saturday when I was there. Only congestion was at the checkout line.
