Back when I was maybe 14ish, I got a call on my new nokia cell phone about winning an all inclusive trip somewhere. They requested my name, SSN, and credit card info as a deposit.
I was so dumb. Luckily I didnt know my SSN and went and asked my mom what it was. She grabbed my phone and hung up the call. I was pissed at first and then she explained how scams worked.
