don't get too upset. this is just a script for a Hallmark Movie. it isn't real.

seems like there has to be another way..somehow.

FIL could have contributed and been paid back or something, be it an all in the family meathead type of situation

I contacted one of my ''brothers'' and I spoke to him about everything, he was not surprised, ''our'' father (i felt sick writing this, holy shite) was an alcoholic deadbeat, he cheated on his wife, she found out, divorced him and after the divorce, he couldn't care less about his sons. (what a fricking surprise)

Mom got some strange from a loser and fricked up the whole family. Stop me if you've heard this story before.

Maybe man or maybe not. 10-11 years is a long fricking time to ask someone to support you

I cannot fathom your pain at the loss of your father. People are fallible, your mother was wrong. It is not your fault. I strongly, STRONGLY encourage you to seek counseling. Get some help to sort it out. Your family needs you. Don’t worry about your mother, time may, or may not, heal that wound. You need to take care of you first and foremost. IT. WAS. NOT. YOUR. FAULT. I am very sorry.
This would be good advice for the actual person. OP just snagged the story from reddit

Sounds like the dad who killed himself had a wealthy family and the whore mom chose the man with the money to settle down with over the bio dad. If all of that story is true then her bill is coming due.

unfortunately, that was a pretty popular thing for wives/gfs to do during the war(s,) boyfriends/husbands too, the bad part was POWs wives fricking around while those guys were getting fricked up

I would think if it were true, the mom would have at least lied at first and said something was wrong with the damn test. She had lived that lie for a long time and should have been ready to die on that hill.

With something like that, you lie to the end. You don't just break down and spill the beans the second your questioned for the first time about it.

Not only that - it doesn’t mean he was definitely going to go to medical school since he quit this early on

He had the intention and dream but it doesn’t mean it would’ve been a reality

It is definitely. But some grandparents would love to be close to their grandchildren..and becoming a doctor is an important task.

Not just for your family but for your community.

some of the saddest "reuniting" pics from the VN POWs are taken from from kids running to grab their Dad while the cheating spouse has either re-married, or is about to
