Idk why you're being downvoted.

Indonesia is packed with extremist muslims.

Which will be $5.50 in California.

Was recently in Arizona, got gas on the border right before we crossed over into California.
A mile or two after crossing, there was a couple dollars difference. Was ridiculous.

This has no bearing on price of oil. Now on price of gasoline?

I have spent quite a bit of time in Indonesia for work through the years.

Don’t get into, on to or near anything that requires technical expertise when in that country. Incompetence and corruption is a bad combination

Russia, an exporter wanting more money per barrel?

You can say gas and end products would rise in price, but why would oil rise from a refinery blowing up?

Three of these malnutritioned muslim fricks tried to strong arm rob me in a mall.

Looked like a ball hitting bowling pins

That’s a massive fire, but your title is incorrect. If that is the Balongan Refinery in Indonesia it’s stated capacity is 240,000 bpd. Roughly equivalent to Shell Norco and smaller than Exxon BR, Citgo LC, and Marathon Garyville. And that’s just within the state of LA and I am not sure of the capacities of some of the other refineries in the state.

Yeah, but it decreases supply of refined products, increasing prices a smidge.

Refined products aren’t as fungible as crude though. There are reasons why populated islands have mini refineries rather than just shipping the finished goods in. Even though an island can’t use all of the byproducts

Price increases will be local, not felt all the way in Louisiana.

Name checks out.

Isn’t the Motiva refinery in Port Arthur capable of close to 600k bpd?

This local article suggests possible lightning strike and says it is Indonesia's largest refinery.
