Same here. Never really getting a hangover was a gift and a curse.

Oddly enough I don't think Louisiana will be last here. We've essentially decriminalized possession in Nola and BR. Well, not quite, but it's almost like a traffic ticket for an ounce or under. Progress. I can't smoke it or I'd lose my career. My wife can though and it helped her quit drinking.

Bunch of pussies in here, learn how to control yourselves. Blaming your weaknesses on others or other things will get you no where in life.

Spoken like someone that's never dealt with addiction. I'm good man. I completely understand your opinion

Might be Mississippi.

They were easily the first southern state to decriminalize it.

I havent read any posts in any of this thread, but I assume alcohol deaths in peoples 20s have to do with dieing behind the wheel and over-intoxication compared to alcohol causing your body to shut down like it might in an older person.

And we still have morons who are convinced that you can OD on weed.

I think the term OD is a fairly indefinite term.

If you mean OD death, there has only been one legitimate case that I know of where it was even considered a possibility and that was an 11 month old that consumed some edibles and died as a result of myocarditis. Myocarditis has presented as a symptom in emergency room situation before in connection with cannabis and since there were no other risk factors present or any anomalies other than extremely high THC levels in the blood work doctors concluded that marijuana may have play a role. They were quick to point out that they were not saying the kid died as a direct result of marijuana.

If OD is taken to mean someone suffering from the effects of excessive THC intoxication resulting in an emergency room visit, that definitely happens. Though the treatment is generally just time. And the underlying symptom is actually just paranoia most times

or maybe

Or maybe

When I was at LSU in the 80s a professor said alcohol was responsible 20% of all college deaths.
