The Advocate is siding with Rando. So nice of this reporter to make a legal call for the DA's office.
I'm sure they would've given a white guy the same luxury, right? Right?

does that mean he has priors and is considered a felon?
Illegal use of a firearm, means he is a convicted felon, in possession of a firearm. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a rap sheet.
More than likely a career criminal.

Man, I really thought that this time the perpetrator would be a foot soldier for the clandestine White Supremacist Organization, so that we can start to unmask this evil organization that is hunting African Americans in the streets.

BR is devolving into a legit shite hole. It’s almost impressive how badly the leadership has fricked it up after Kip.

Illegal possession of a firearm by a felon is a different charge.

Yup we’ve taught this history lesson before, when whitey left EBR in the 70s and 80s to get away from forced busing school decay it was called white flight.

People are getting jacked in the Riverbend area now?
Parents live in the front of the neighborhood. My dad got his car stolen from the driveway one night about 10 years ago. The cops found it the next day being driven and pulled it over. 5 kids under 16 years old jumped out while it was still moving and they only caught one. Smelled like garbage weed for a while after that.

Rando, let’s hear a Louisiana road rage story of yours.

Pretty sure the victim had a good job and nice house in WBR.
Sounds like he let road rage get the better of him and he chased down this 19 yr old to teach him a lesson with good ole fashioned fisticuffs.
Problem is these young bucks don't square up for a fight anymore.
Instead of fighting fair or simply running away to a cop 75 feet away, this 19 yr old idiot decided to take a man's life, essentially ending his own.

According to one of the articles, the dead guy flashed his piece first.

Yea sounds like he flashed it while in their vehicles still on the road.
Not saying he's innocent at all in this tragedy. I think road-ragers are comparatively negligent/responsible for whatever happens to them.

There is at least one cruiser at BQuik at any given moment. Why? Free coffee and fountain drinks for law enforcement and fire fighters.
Free coffee and soda is a lot cheaper than hiring security. Smart on their part.

I've posted before about thinking I was gonna be fighting three young guys in traffic on perkins.
Someone else find the post. It involved machete. And a huge misunderstanding

“ Witnesses told police they saw the fight unfold, adding that Tatney punched Jackson twice in the face. Jackson then went to his vehicle and grabbed a handgun.”
Sore loser….
