The drivers are absolutely the least impacted by this shite show. Not trying to minimize it, but it’s a fact.
likely so...the dispatchers and support folks in the office(s) will have a very tough time finding work however without relocating.

So it’s likely other companies will pick up these contracts. I hate it for the truck drivers stranded, but they’ll get work again soon and the consumer market will be minimally impacted it sounds like.

All I want to know is does this mean truckers will start going faster or slower than the 85-90 mph they are hauling arse down the interstates now? fricking death machines.

You better believe it...the phones were lit up at the former Celadon Customer's by every Tom, Dick, and Sally that lost a bid to Celadon offering these customer's help moving their freight in this difficult time.
you don't need to be in business if you aren't doing the same "business blood" in the water.

Sounds like other companies are having driver shortages so they can hire these drivers and hopefully get them where they need to be to start with the new company.

Crazy that you spend 98% of your time on the road and can’t even afford a bus ticket.

Did a bubble pop or what? All you see is ads for truck driver's needed and I thought truck driver's were making bank right now? I thought the trucking industry was slammed?
What gives?
What gives?

The drivers who lease their trucks will stand to lose a lot of money

They are, and paying good money as sign on bonuses. Any decent driver can pick up a new ride within a week.

So then how does a company go under? They massively underbid a lot of long term contracts?
