Bayou fountain is slowly falling.

Current level is 14.84 feet at Bluebonnet at 10:00am.. That's only down .49" Or just under a six INCH fall!!!! That isn't very much considering it's been something like 48 hours since it peaked at 15.23 feet Tuesday around Noon.

It's incredible that it has taken this long.

Not sure what's going on with Alligator/Manchac gauge. It looks like they made an adjustment so now it's reading 14.6' @ 11a. I caught the 10a updated reading and it DROPPED .24" in past hour.

Bluff Swamp was 12.94'@ 11a. (up .12")

As long as it doesn't rise.... it'll be fine
I'm just going out on a limb and say it'll be back around 5 feet (it's normal) sometime next week

Half way between C.Braud and Alligator Bayou Rd. Closed both directions. Not sure if you can get into Bluff Oaks. I'm sure the water's over the road where the old music recording studio was.

Sure, but those that have a couple of feet of water from Bayou Fountain in their homes dropping 6" in two days isn't very good news.

Plus with the Bayou so high now everyone is vulnerable to a relatively local monsoon like we had yesterday.

We need to get all this water in the ocean ASAP.
