It’s a pretty consensus favorite on the running shoe thread over on the health n fitness board. I was a full on brooks and Reebok disciple but I’m hooked on the saucony endorphin speeds now. Fantastic running shoe.

I've thoroughly enjoyed mine. Had the same two pairs for about 4 years now. One I workout in and one for more casual use.

Hoka's feel like they were made for me personally, like custom shoes. That's why I love them so much. Just bought another pair of Hoka Bondi X's yesterday. I tried Altra, Saucony, Brooks, etc. but nothing feels like those Hoka's on me.

interestingly, Hokas feel like they were made for me specifically to not wear. i have a lot of friends that i run with that love them, but i always try a pair when i'm at a store and looking, but i never feel comfortable in them. Brooks and New Balance just fit me better than Hokas.

People mentioned Saucony, and i like Saucony shoes a lot, but i've never felt like they would be an all day comfort shoe like Brooks, NB, or Hoka.

It's amazing how differently shoes feel to different people. It's why I guess there's no real leader in the industry. They all have a following.

asics gel-nimbus

An absolutely rock solid shoe for runners/walkers/nurses on their feet all day/etc

Anyone who tries to say an OC shoe is on par with the Gel Nimbus is 100% full of shite.
