I find it hard to even think that fricking Algeria of all places would allow a transgender person to compete on the Olympic stage
Trans is literally illegal in Algeria.
2 scenarios here:
- She is truly intersex, thus the XY and high test levels.
or
- Algerian government is desperate for medals and transitioned a boy into a girl in order to win medals. (Not impossible)

Hopefully these displays of woke culture for the whole world to see helps shift the Overton Window back to sanity.

Today in 24 states Biden’s legislating redo of TitleIX requiring similar went into effect today.

Micro penis can be intersex.
That person is still male just underdeveloped genitals.
Im not saying thats what these boxers are. But its basically you dont get a man dick during puberty. Incomplete masculinization of the external genitalia.

I don't know man. Its the same thing as the Caster Semenya situation in track. T&F changed their rules in 2018 and now she is essentially banned from competing because she doesn't want to take test blockers.
I'm very skeptical of these small countries when it comes to this, but I'm also not the one looking at their genitalia.
Adopt the same standards that everyone else is going to and this goes away.
It will probably happen after this too.

It seems like they are in denial mode.
quote:
The Algerian Olympic Committee issued a statement Wednesday condemning what it termed “lies” and “unethical targeting and maligning of our esteemed athlete, Imane Khelif, with baseless propaganda from certain foreign media outlets.”
Posted on 8/1/24 at 1:50 pm to Salmon
"Khelif failed gender eligibility tests at the world championships in New Delhi and were disqualified by the International Boxing Association (IBA)."
Olympics does not require the same tests. This thing was probably born a female but has been taking transitioning drugs(outside of Algeria), yet some here will still defend it.

I do not believe this to be accurate. Testosterone does not give you a Y chromosome.

Its a male.
XY
Correct.
quote:
Khelif has not confirmed that she has DSD. But during last year’s world boxing championships, she was disqualified just before the gold medal match because her testosterone levels failed to meet the eligibility criteria. Another boxer, Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting, was also kicked out for the same reason.
Afterward, the head of the International Boxing Association said both fighters had XY chromosomes, which are found in males. “Based on DNA tests, we identified a number of athletes who tried to trick their colleagues into posing as women,” IBA president Umar Kremlev told Russian media at the time.

XY females exist and the frequency of them showing up in sports is 140x more than normal population, which makes sense.
They just need to set tighter test limits and this would be resolved.

Well there it is..Facher08 needs to take all that shite he was talking back.

Simple rule: biological males and individuals with abnormal chromosomes can’t compete in female only sports. Any exclusions made here only opens the door to the other bullshite.

The boxer was born a hermaphrodite in a country where transitioning is illegal. Who are we to question God’s plan?
You aren’t going to get paid by the left if you use out dated terminology.
Use futanari or futa

So, not a woman and as such why there are issues with her competing as such

Can’t believe your post is getting downvotes. Even liberal feminist ought to be agreeing with everything you said. Until female athletes as a united group start refusing to compete, this will continue.
It’s getting downvoted because it’s not exactly what happened. I’m against this tranny shite 100% but this case isn’t so cut and dry. I still don’t think they should have let it compete but it’s not like it was born a man and then they chose to become a woman because it was bat shite crazy like the majority of them.

People were quick to think this was just a dude born a dude and said, "hey I'm a chick" and now boxing with chicks.
That's not the case.
But this person seems to have testosterone levels that are too high to be fighting against women, it's just too dangerous. THAT is the issue here, not the normal political narratives we're used to.

What shite? My point still stands. People reacting without thinking and automatically assuming this is some sort of Lia Thomas social grandstanding are ignorant of the situation. And from many responses, including yours, they are doubling down just to be angry.

I told my daughter that any woman that has to face these transgender athletes should just forfeit the match or whatever sport they are competing against one in.
It will put an end to it.
Networks pay big money to cover sporting events. They will lose revenue. If every event is cancelled right before the start.
