They're offering 9 weeks of unlimited pasta for $100 to the first 20,000 people to sign up on the 15th. The first 50 of THOSE to opt in find out on the 16th by email if they got lifetime pasta.

You have to spend $100 to find out if you can spend $500. On Olive Garden.

I've seen scams that didn't frick the victims that hard
Yeah no shite. plus the people will be ordering other things on the menu while eating out.

They must have some data that supports demand for this.

I can see empty-nesters believing this is still a good deal if they live close to an Olive Garden they frequent enough.

I need this so I can gamble in Vegas and if I end up broke and homeless I still have free unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks to fall back on until I get back on my feet.

And, while it's technically "unlimited", the fine print says that you get one of their unlimited pasta bowl things per visit taken off your bill, not whatever pasta you want from Olive Garden, just any combination of those three or four kinds of pasta, three or four sauces, and three or four toppings.

The lasagna is 10X better than the pasta dishes

Right but I suppose if you work in a business park with one or something, it’d probably not be the worst deal to get a basic pasta and salad 1-2 times a week.

Not particularly healthy but if eating out regularly anyway that’s about 6 of one half dozen the other.

The Facebook pages of middle aged women posting their pics of being out with girls. Sometimes they just need to “wine” a little bit.
