In the 70's my brother, and a couple of friends, got caught stealing stop signs on The Natchez Trace. It was a felony, because it was The Trace. He was on juvenile probation for either 18 or 24 months, and had to go to classes in Jackson with State Troopers. They made them watch videos that included pictures of injuries caused from signs having been removed. Some were decapitations and other deaths from around the U.S. He was 15, and that was kind of the beginning of a really rough time for the three of them.

I would argue the main reason they come to Ole Miss is because it's the only SEC school that will accept them. Mississippi is hurting itself by keeping ACT requirements so low. We are the dumping ground for out of state kids who shouldn't be in college in the first place.

Yea I don't understand this logic at all.
Does it really matter perception wise if they were the individuals that shite the sign?
They took pictures of a shot up sign, guns blazing. They clearly represented that they either shot the sign themselves, or at the very least, they support shooting up signs memorializing key moments in the fight for civil rights.
Is that really better? I'd say it's not.

Some of you guys are making too big a deal of this. They vandalized a sign. Make them pay for the sign and some community service and let’s move on.

They're just the kind of sh*ts that think doing that is funny. These are the kind of kids that call their mom when they've cking. acct. is overdrawn. She puts in money, and their dad never knows about it, because he thinks he's teaching them to budget their money. They gotten away with stuff their whole life, especially the one on our left. I ran with kids like this, but I was the one that would have taken the rap if we'd gotten caught doing stupid stuff.

Doesn't look like there is a legal aspect according to the article which doesn't look like many people did in this thread. University got the picture back in March and said it couldn't do anything because it didn't effect code of conduct and wasn't on campus, they turned it over to the FBI and the FBI just said they didn't see it as a threat.
Frat kicked them out and I am sure they will probably leave campus due to being known as those dipshits, but that looks about the extent of this one.
