Cops have been enforcing this around town.. writing fines left and right since most of the students are back in town .

They should just say it’s a BLM meetup and they’d probably get off with a warning

That's a good way to make up for lost ticket revenues. I wonder if it applies to every individual or as a collective.

the question is, how close can two separate gatherings be? if one gathering is 6 feet from the other gathering, is that ok?

I just wouldn’t go to college right now. I’d be in a trade job in a heartbeat over dealing with that

Man, its been downhill ever since they capitulated with Colonel Reb. A place without a spine and without an identity too. That’s what happens when you give in to these people. They leave you empty, pathetic, and vulnerable.

In all fairness, that's the restriction in OXFORD itself -- the mayor there is probably the Original Karen. The University didn't set this.

Also, I just don't see how they or any place can limit what I do in my own home as far as gatherings. And to make the fine payable to the university is just beyond belief.

They need to be fined for getting rid of Colonel Reb and replacing it with that stupid shark, or bear.

Also, serious question -- can cops randomly knock on doors and do a head count? Or is it (I'm guessing) more of a "it's loud, we got a report from a neighbor" kind of thing??

I'll be honest -- our sophomore is there. We just told her that she needs to be aware and not get caught up in a bad situation. She's a rule follower and doesn't have the $$ to pay a fine -- and I won't pay it.
