My first memories of pizza were at Shakey’s on Airline in 1969 for my 6 year old birthday celebration. That place was great. Had live entertainment and short movies. You could even watch them spin the pizza crust through the window to the kitchen. That is where I developed my life long love for pepperoni pizza. Ha!

I remember an Ole Miss QB that ran wild on us (over 200 yds rushing in 2019) we won the game but he ran all over us. Think his name was Plumlee.

I grew up in Sherwood Forrest. His house was two blocks from mine. He always put up a really cool Christmas display in his yard.
I was class of ‘82. Played football and track. He was one you either loved or hated, because he pushed you to be your best and would call you out when needed.

He dedicated his life to teaching and coaching high school kids at Broadmoor. Glad he got to see our old field named after him. He was a good man.

Six of the top seven are SEC. Don’t think I’ve ever seen this before.

I’m out another $16k.
Mine is weird. Whenever I drop something I can almost always catch it before it hits the ground.

Anybody else have this skill?
I saw that one live with my entire family in the new South end zone addition. Very fond memories of that one.

My kids wanted to storm the field so we all just made our way down there. It was a very calm event but still very memorable.

72-70 Tigers. HVL with 11.
Amazing how nobody considers the foot injury she has played through this year that limited her mobility early on.

I had the exact same thought. Ha!

Yes, two dogs and one deer in 45 years of driving.
Hope has daughter in law potential.

Congrats buddy. Nothing better than finding a woman to spend the rest of your life with, except having a few kids with her. I wish the best for ya’ll, and I won’t dog you for posting here on your wedding night.

I was reading on Dandy Don when my wife’s water broke with our first child. ??
I grew up in Baton Rouge but went to Louisiana Tech for their Engineering School in early 80’s. My best high school friend had strong White Castle Louisiana roots. He decided to transfer to La Tech for our Sophomore year. After registering for classes we went to the college bookstore. When he found his English text book, the book store attendant told him you’ll need to get this grammar workbook as well for that course. My friend asked, “Well where dey got dem at?” I laughed my arse off and will never forget the look on that bookstore man’s face. ??

I grew up one street away on the boulevard. Played dozens of free rounds on Maintenance Monday as a kid.

Made Lots of cash from golf balls I retrieved from the canal and ponds.

We would hit the pond on 11th at night. It would turn your toenails yellow digging in the silt bottom, but tons of golf balls made their way in there. Ha! Good memories.
I’ve been on two jury trials in Monroe Lousiana and yes it definitely divides among racial lines. It shouldn’t but it does.
You did great buddy! I had forgotten how fun it was to see a dominant Tiger baseball team. It’s been a while!
The fire tower in Hilly was a good climb during my Louisiana Tech days, Many moons ago.
