Louisiana Hurricane Center

I guess the LHC is wrong about this next potential storm as well...

Unfortunately now though we have a new possible developing situation in the Bay of Campeche/Southern Gulf which may bring even more rain this way next week.

And hasn't been forecast on tv for a week...like his original post stated.

well here are my comments:
quote:

maybe you have not watched the weather all week and just turned the TV on, but this was said to happen a week ago so you just now figured out this was going to move into louisianas as it meanders on its way north east ???????????????...

quote:

why? because i am right?

this was predicted since last week from the european forcast models but they decided not to show those on TV even though it was said to have a very high chance to happen in the aftermath of the hurricane breaking up, all the american models showed different so they decided not to show it. and now that its become real, this is just a repeat of that same prediction with "slightly" higher chances of probability

maybe if you guys knew how to pay attention, you wouldnt be so quick to make baseless assumptions.

aww too bad you cant even read and you just want to jump on the band wagon lol

i proved everything i said was correct, which was, as far as last week, it was talked about but never shown on TV, that european forcasts showed the remnants from harvey were projected to hang around and linger to eventually form another weak depression

????????

So, all the other actual meteorologists that are saying it's a storm in the Southern Gulf don't know squat, right?

Since nobody's paying attention in the other thread, I just want to point out that Harvey's not done yet and is moving further east than forecast.

you are the only one who keeps arguing with yourself over if it "is" or "isn't" a storm lol.

all I ever said was the euro models had already predicted it, so it wasn't "new" news, the panty bunching by YOU guys started up after that trying desperately to find something to complain about yet not a single point I made was false

How about this one, smartass?

that european forcasts showed the remnants from harvey were projected to hang around and linger to eventually form another weak depression

It isn't the remnants of Harvey that are forming the next storm.

It's a remaining boundary created by the transition of Harvey from tropical to not as he pulls away. The low will spin up at the tail of it and we have a storm.

Stalled fronts a common source of those quick TS spinups that happen early in the season.

All I know is the NHC is talking about it as a new low coming from the Southern Gulf. That to me says it's not simply the remnants of Harvey that are developing into a new depression like Keak the Geek is saying.

REGARDLESS, no one needs it, so at the end of the day, I don't care where it's coming from, as long as it doesn't come here. It needs to vacation in Mexico.

The NCAA needs to permanently move the beginning of football season to October 1st. August and September haven't been good for anything in years.
