First response an idiot makes it about politics.

What's scary is that there is an idiot out there voting who thinks that because people like a catchy song democracy will end.

All of those songs are fun, too. None of them is worth a good shite, but they’re fun. Isn’t that the important thing?

Yes. That’s my point. That’s also why I’m happy for him. I don’t quite get the downvoted lol

Reminds me of one of Chris Rock's bits.

They got to let everybody know how cool/ sophisticated/ smart they are by hating (or pretending not to know about) anything popular

It's been billboard number one since April 1 and has been a played and talked about everywhere. You almost have to try to have not heard it or at least heard of it.

It's not a bad thing to be out of touch with pop culture. It happens to everyone. It's just weird to brag about it like so many do here.

Same miserable fricks who are always "joking" about how they hate their wives and how terrible marriage is

Exactly my point. You're bragging about not paying attention to current trends as if it makes you sound cool and wise.

No one said you have to like it.

It’s ironic because Roger likes to act like a know it all on here, he pretends to know a little about a lot but he’s never heard one of the most popular songs this summer.

No one’s more in tune with the Zeitgeist than roger, but he hasn’t heard the most popular song of all time

Not to mention how much he likes to brag about knowing more about geography than anyone else in the world, from his shack in Alaska

Weird take that reeks of insecurity. Can you link that?
When did making a statement equal bragging?
What's the target audience for top 40 music?

Who gives a frick what the target audience is?

I’m in my 40’s, I listen to country, Lithium, just about anything except Top 40 music, however I have teenage kids, I use the Internet, I watch TV and I socialize with real people that have a pulse and I just heard this song for the first time about a month ago.
