You have to be lying or driving an old arse vehicle. I’ve never used an entire jug and run that shite until I get nothing out of the wipers.
I’ve had a Tahoe, charger, Silverado, Sierra, and a terrain and they’ve all taken an entire jug of fluid.

That way I don’t have a quart rolling around in the back until I need to fill it again.
Buy some of these, fill the reservoir w/water, drop one of the tablets in, BINGO...

If it's not impregnated with Rain-X, it's not happening.

So this seems like a Ford, Toyota, and Honda issue.

Strike. 22 F250 and 24 Explorer both take the full gallon.

I need to replace my blinker fluid but can't find the reservoir.
Any Tips ?
It's usually right next to the horn fluid reservoir

Dodge, Jeep, Audi, Tesla, Ford, BMW, Infinity and none would take an entire jug.

Ford
My go cart 2024 Ford Escape only took a little more than 3/4 of a bottle when empty.
That is why I started the post. If I recall, my Ford F-150 in 2013 could only do a partial bottle. They may have upped the capacity.

quote:i would guess the size and shape of the tank is one of the last things they model in the space available so it comes out to some non standard volume.
For the sake of organization and simplicity, why can’t car manufacturers and fluid bottlers come up with a standard size refill bottle to fill up the tank to where you have no fluid left.

you could always……..not keep the container in your car
my first thought.

After I fill mine up, I top off my wife's reservoir. (I know what you're thinking pervs).

Then what do you do in an emergency? Use piss like an animal?

Oil companies making quart-size containers and car manufacturers making engines that need 4.7, 5.2 qts, etc is a conspiracy I'm sure of.
No the real conspiracy is selling oil in 5qt jugs when you need 5.5 quarts. 3 different vehicles here, and always have 3 partial jugs of oil on the shelf, all of a different type and viscosity etc....

You created the "emergency" by opening your hood once every five months.

I’m 99% sure my 2022 F-250 doesn’t take the whole bottle. Once the low fluid light comes on you should be able to put the whole bottle in.

My 22 6.7 did. The first thing I did when I picked it up was drain the washer fluid and fill it with the good stuff.

What did snow have to do with your washer fluid getting low?
My guess is either:
1. Had summer fluid and didn’t want it to freeze/crack the reservoir, so ran it dry ahead of time.
2. Had winter/all-season fluid, but used it up trying to de-ice after the snow.

1 gallon distilled water. 1 cup of white vinegar. Spoonful of dish soap. 1 cup of rubbing alcohol in the winter. Add blue food coloring if you want.
You’ll never buy the pre-made stuff again.
The all-season RainX fluid is like $3-4/gallon and it’s awesome. I can’t imagine going to the trouble of mixing my own wiper fluid to save 3 bucks.
